Birthday party

So, you have a birthday party round the corner and you want it to be the best one for your kid. Here are some of the Birthday party Tips if you are a mom, who loves to do everything on your own.

Start a month in advance. Fix the tasks as per the weeks.

Week 1:

  • Decide on the list of invitees. You need to first plan whether you want to have a big bash with your kids friends and also you own friends and family members. According to that, plan out the invitee list.
  • Decide the Venue: As per your total number of invitees and the budget, decide if you want to have a party at you own place or hire a party area or just check out with the local pizzeria or mc donalds.
  • Fix your party Theme: As per your kids liking, fix the theme of the party. if your 5 year old is a big Ben 10 fan then he will surely happy if you go for a BEN 10 theme with everything decorated as per the theme. Check out what your kid wants. If your child is too young, you can decide the theme yourself.
  • Week 2:

  • Design invitations: Design the invitation cards as per the theme you have decided.
  • Decide on the Birthday Games and Activities: You really need to plan out well about the ways to keep the guests occupied with various birthday games and other fun activities for the kids. What will be the prizes and what are the rules. What specific age group is qualified to play the game. List down everything.
  • Plan the Menu: this is one of the most important factor of a birthday party. Most of the kids attend birthday parties to enjoy the menu served. Check out the age group and any menu you plan should be age specific.

    Week 3:
  • Do your shopping: This week, set up time for your trips to the market. List down all the items you need to buy for the party. Buy the invitation cards, return gifts etc.
  • Personalize and customize the return gifts: Gift wrap and personalize the return gifts and write down the invitation cards.
  • Book the outsourced Services: Be it the caterers, decorators, entertainers.. this is the time to book them for the party and make sure that the address/location and timings are properly communicated with them.
  • Send out the invitations.
  • Week 4:

  • Buy the birthday costume: Buy the birthday dress for your kid. Make sure that it goes with the birthday theme.
  • A day before, prepare for the meal and do the decoration of the venue.
  • On party day, be ready before the guests arrive. See the preparation and then just enjoy THE BIRTHDAY PARTY!!
